Invent-a-Bot introduces children to building and programming robots using LEGO Mindstorms. While doing so they learn concepts of teamwork and basic design skills, creating an initial interest and hands-on approach to science and technology. All programs involve hands-on experiments with exploring, designing, building, and programming. All programming is done on a laptop and “transferred” to the MINDSTORMS robot.

Robots We Build

Our projects include Acrobot, Walking Dog, Bumper Car Robot, Tickle-Me Robot, Maze Run, Wall follower, Marble collector, Flash light detector, Drawing Artbot, Drummer, Robotic creatures like mouse, dog, puppy, and many many more.

“But I Don’t Know All This!!”

The thought of programming robots may sound intimidating to some children who may have no background or experience. But the LEGO ROBOTIC system provides an easy and fun-filled experience. The classes offer a friendly teamwork-learning environment, and most children find it very intuitive within a short period of time and on the other hand we provide more complex, mind-challenging robotics activities. Our program includes advanced level which guarantees a bundle of technical challenges and fun. Challenges are virtually endless.

Their creativity can run wild in our classes while they are learning logic, problem solving, organization, and teamwork.

What can we do for your child??

Here is what we have been doing…

  • Build engineering and science intuition.
  • Develop their interests in math and scientific technology.
  • Strengthen their research and problem solving skills, as well as reading, writing, presentation skills, and creativity.
  • Give your children the advantage of heads-up to their future science studies capabilities.
  • Build the ability to think through problems strategically with a focus on logical reasoning, analytical reasoning, and critical thinking.
  • Prepare your children for the competitive workforce, especially in science technology; which is and will be in great demand.
  • Equip your children the skills to be readily applied and transferable to various industries, not just robotics or science.
