Our Goal
We provide a fun and creative learning opportunity and environment for the kids to learn the concepts of team work and basic design skills along with hands-on approach to science and technology for a better tomorrow.
Invent-a-Bot introduces children to building and programming robots using LEGO Mindstorms*, Lego Animation and Motorized Simple Machines. While doing so they learn concepts of teamwork and basic design skills, creating an initial interest and hands-on approach to science and technology. In addition to having fun, participants learn about mechanical and software design, computer simulation, project management and teamwork and problem-solving skills. Most work is done in teams of two or three students. You don’t need any experience with robotics or programming to begin your robotic adventure.
We are confident that this experience will help begin to transform youngsters and open their eyes to the possibilities of improving the world around them through acknowledgement, thought, planning, and technology. This is a fun and creative learning experience for kids to attend after-school.
Recommended for ages 8 - 14 years or grades 2 - 6.
